Get the scoop on the Jaguars in Jacksonville

Jaguars fans, get ready for the Jaguars to roll out the red carpet.

The franchise announced the new home for their new stadium, Jacksonville Stadium, on Wednesday.

The Jaguars opened the 2017 season at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium in January of this year and will host the NFL’s season opener on Oct. 5 against the New England Patriots at Jacksonville Memorial Stadium.

Fans can get their first look at the new stadium when the team opens its new home on Thursday, Nov. 18 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum.

The stadium is expected to host NFL games for the next seven years, and the Jaguars’ home opener against the Saints on Sept. 29 will be their first-ever regular-season game in Jacksonville.

Tickets for Jacksonville Jaguars home games start at $30 for adults and $12 for students and seniors.

The stadium also will feature the Jacksonville Jaguars’ new mobile ticketing application.
