TNA wrestler Eric “Pitbull” Lee is the first to admit he got his nickname tattooed onto his neck after a recent match in Las Vegas.
Lee, a former WWE superstar, and his partner, former WWE wrestler and current TNA talent John Cena, won a match against two-time Intercontinental Champion Matt Sydal and former Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho in a “Supercard of Honor” match at TNA Impact Wrestling’s Vegas Dome in late October.
“We had a match at the arena and it was awesome,” Lee told ESPN.
“It was a really fun match.
But as soon as we hit the ring, we knew that we had a realtor on our neck.”TNA’s WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley and the company’s current owner, Vince McMahon, are two of Lee’s biggest fans.
Lee said he got the nickname from Foley, who’s been in the ring with him in TNA since 2004.TNA is one of several promotions that has a “TNA Hall of Fame” in their headquarters, which is a tribute to its history and accomplishments.
Lee, however, is not the only former WWE star who got the “Tune In” logo tattoo on his neck.
John Cena got his “CM Punk” tattoo during his WrestleMania 30 match against Kane, while former WWE Hall-of-Famer Hulk Hogan got his infamous “The Rock” tattoo on both of his cheeks.
