What does it mean to be ‘an island’? And what can we learn from the stories of other islands?

By Laura T. BrownThe Miami Realtor Association (MFRAA) and the University of Miami School of Law are teaming up to create a website dedicated to exploring the different islands that make up Miami.

In a partnership with the Mardi Gras Miami Carnival and the Miami Museum of Art, they are launching a new website to showcase Miami’s unique cultures, history and experiences.

The goal of the website is to help tourists and locals alike better understand the diverse history of Miami, from the Caribbean to the island nation of Puerto Rico.

The website will include information on Miami’s culture, tourism and history, and offer a look into the neighborhoods that make Miami unique.

“The fact that we’re using Mardi Guays in our project is important,” said Dr. Andrew W. Jones, a Miami native and the MFRAA’s associate director for the Miami Real Estate Association.

“We want to make it easier for visitors to explore Miami, to better understand what it’s like to live here, and to have the tools to better identify the places and places that can be developed and redeveloped.”

The Mardi Gains Miami website will feature interactive maps and stories about Miami’s islands, which will be curated by the Mousseau Museum of Miami.

The Mousseaux are one of the world’s largest collections of historic buildings.

“What’s really important is that we bring the stories to life, that we put them on the web, and that people can explore the islands and the culture of the island and how we have developed and developed over time,” said Mousseak director of architecture and urban design Kevin Mousseac.

“The fact we are going to have maps that can show the places, that will show the culture, is really important to us, because we want people to understand the history and to be able to get to places that they can’t get to before.

That is really the goal.”

The website will also include information about Miami-Dade County’s historic districts and historical districts, which provide a glimpse into how the islands are divided up by neighborhood.

For the MUSEUM, the goal is to highlight Miami’s diversity and explore the many neighborhoods that form a part of the city.

“Historic Districts are a huge part of Miami’s history and we are proud to partner with the Miami-based MFRAAA and the Museum of Fine Arts to create this project to better highlight the historic districts that make this city unique,” said John A. Gant, MUSEURM Director of Public Affairs.

“Miami-DADE County is one of our largest historic districts, and we wanted to show the city’s rich history and the history of this district through the interactive maps on this website.”

Miami-dade County is home to many historical districts including the historic and historic district that includes the former City of Miami that is now the home of the University Health System and the National Museum of the American Indian.

In a statement, the MFSI said that the MUFAs partnership with Miami-dades County is “a tremendous step forward in our efforts to showcase the history, culture, and history-making potential of our community.”

The museum and MFSIC also partnered with Miami’s Mardi College to create an interactive map showing the history on the island.
